DJ Czequita, based in Prague, is a rising star of the Czech salsa scene. A passionate salsa dancer turned DJ. Her journey with salsa began during her university years, and over time she explored all major salsa styles through extensive training and performing with a dance group. She also spent several years assisting on regular dance courses.

Inspired by her travels to numerous festivals across Europe and participation in choreographic projects and performances, she developed a deep connection with salsa on2 – her true passion. This love for on2 eventually led her to the DJ booth, where she found a way to bring this vibrant style closer to the local community, feeling it was something missing on the Czech scene.

Today, DJ Czequita plays regularly at popular salsa spots in Prague and has been invited to DJ in cities like Brno and Munich. Her sets are known for their musicality, energy and ability to keep dancers inspired all night long.
