Manu, born in Lima, Peru, grew up with salsa music and dance as part of his culture. In 2004, he turned his passion into a profession and toured Spain and Europe for 21 years, giving workshops, presenting shows with his formations sabor & Bembé in Madrid, Mambo & sandunga in London and currently MamboJazz in Munich doing shows and organising events. His main passion is to spread Salsa by bringing his knowledge of Latin culture to the dance floors as a DJ. Being a reference now in Munich his sessions are adapted to the dance floor so that the dancer vibrates with every song.
DJ Manu Ritmo is a connoisseur of Salsa, (Romantica 80‘s, 90’s) Mambo, Guaguanco, Guaracha, Cha-cha, Boogaloo, Pachanga and Son Montuno.
In 2014, Manu moved to London, where he spent the next six years establishing himself as one of the most popular teachers and DJs at London's most famous salsa schools and events, including Super Mario, SOS, Pexava, Caramelo and Salsateca.
Manu has been in Munich since 2020 working with more schools, DJ's and event organisers to (re)build the mambo scene in Munich.

DJ Anael is a salsa sounds lover since more than 10 years and records collector since 2011.
In 2006, he discovered salsa, started dancing and collecting music by purchasing CDs and then Vinyl records. As a kid he received music and piano lessons, and this background gave him great listening skills, needed to discover gems songs to please the ears of dancers. Travelling to many congresses every year as a dancer, he aims to bring the same musical experience to the local salsa scene.
He started to play music for the crowds in 2012 as guest DJ, and quickly grew as the main Mambo DJ on the french riviera (Nice / Monaco). Since then, he collaborates on a regular basis with Marion Pontal (Ramark Dance Company) for events, and is invited to play in many local and french festivals (Monaco Salsa Congress / Pink Tolosa / Sund'Aix Salsa Festival / On2 is Nice / St Tropez Salsa Festival ... ). Since 2017 he runs Mambo Day afternoon socials, one sunday per month in St-Raphael.

During his visit to Hong Kong where he performed in a Salsa Congress in 2008 he was awarded the certificate of participation for his outstanding performance. Julian believes Salsa is a way to bring happiness and to unite people from all backgrounds throughout music.

Dj Morena / Katja is dancing since she is able to remember. She grew up in a dancing family, starting with ballroom and experimented ever since with different styles and music, spending countless hours on the parquet and in front of the mirror. More than ten years ago she fell in love with her greatest passion - Salsa.
Almost 7 years ago she started as a Djane at local parties until she was given a chance to play abroad and slowly became more and more internationally recognized salsa Djane.
Join us for 54 hours of salsa marathon at a family-like event for a limited number of intermediate and advanced dancers and friends.

Food all inclusive / All you can eat
"Overall it was sooooo wonderful!!! Great dancers, I loved the music, beautiful space with a good floor, delicious food (and as someone with dietary restrictions, I especially appreciated that I still had plenty of different things to eat), lovely to get to know folks over meals, well organized, and I really enjoyed the Christmas market walking tour as well. Thanks so much for all the hard work to make it happen!"

"I enjoyed the live music so much! The way Sasha framed his sets, with intentions and meaning, really made me connect and enjoy the dancing even more. It felt that there was a purpose behind the music, we could see the effort and the drive that was moving the making of it. That clearly shows the DJ is engaged and not just playing songs that match with each other. On another note, all the thoughtful little details make this event so personal and intimate. From the bracelet with the unique message to the electrolyte water (and the note on not having too much of it) clearly states that this event is made for the participants. The food was amazing, with many options. I can't recommend this enough."

Prague Zouk Marathon
"This event is very special. What I like about the Prague marathons compared to others is the amazing combination of passionate dancers dancing to music played by passionate, experienced DJ's in a very quaint and comfortable venue, serving up very tasty buffet style meals and loads of snacks in between. I love how the snacks and meals are integrated completely with dancing area. The dancing is seemingly non-stop, starting from noon lunch/brunch until 6 AM in the morning. And perhaps the best is the general atmosphere of being relaxed and unpretentious, attended by friendly passionate dancers. Why I would recomend this event to my friends? Because it is a great way to dance a lot to really good music, to chill out with friends, and to get to know passionate salsa people much more closely than would be possible at larger, more formal salsa events."

Prague Salsa Marathon
"This marathon was the very best festival, I´ve ever been. Starting with this incredible love in each detail, from the decoration, to the beanbags for resting and relaxing in your dancebreak, to the peppermints on every table and the refreshing stuff in the toilets. I love this very unique concept of "all inclusive". Because usually on festivals you need big breaks for finding restaurants and having meals there. Often people eat chep fastfood, just to "have something". And many people forget drinking, because it´s too expensive. But in this case the "food around the clock" (including water, tea and coffe) was incredible! Each meal consisted of a varied, nutritious buffet with options for every taste - including cakes and fresh fruit and vegetables. The options for gluten-free and vegan diets were just as varied and everything was very tasty. The organiser Zdenek & his Prague Kizz team were incredibly attentive and caring, as was the catering team in a gorgeous venue that couldn't have been better suited. The DJs were great and played wonderful music - some of it really uniquely grandiose. And finally the dancers - never before have I experienced so many attentive and loving dancers at a festival. Everyone danced with everyone else and no-one thought they were ‘better’ than anyone else - even though everyone had a high standard of dancing. During this weekend it really felt like one big, cosy family. I am happy to recommend this festival to true dance lovers who appreciate this special and truly unique combination and I am already looking forward to the next meeting with the Prague Kizz family!"

The Grotta is the main attraction of the Havlicek Gardens and looks like a fairytale with its peculiar rock formations. The artificial cave features the arcade promenade which is quite unique in Prague. The Grotta dates back to 1871–1888 when it was intricately built by Moritz Grobe, a millionaire. After renovation in 2011, the cave was opened for public.
