Fanta building

Step into history and elegance at "Fantova budova", the breathtaking Art Nouveau gem of Prague’s Main Train Station. Designed by the visionary architect Josef Fanta and completed in 1909, this masterpiece captures the spirit of early 20th-century Prague — where travel, art, and architecture met in perfect harmony. Behind its grand façade lies a world of intricate stained glass, sculpted details, sweeping arches, and high ceilings that flood the space with daylight. Once a gateway to Europe for travelers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, today Fantova budova shines again after a meticulous restoration, revealing its original beauty and charm. It’s more than just a railway hall — it’s a living piece of Prague’s history. A space where the elegance of the past meets the vibrant energy of the present.

DJ V

Ireland Ireland

DJ V (AKA Verginiya) is an Irish, but Greece-based DJ and salsa social dancer.

She strives to play the best salsa music - including something for everyone from mambo, salsa dura, guaguanco, salsa romantica, instrumentals, charanga, son and chachacha.

Being an eager social dancer first, DJ V is very passionate about playing danceable music that gets your body grooving and wanting to get up and dance! Her music is groovy, energetic, and creates a flow that will keep you on the dancefloor for the whole set!

She broadcasts her monthly radio show Alegria on WorldSalsaRadio, where she plays new and old songs - as much for the feet as for the ear! On Alegria, DJ V shares information about each artist and track, and also some salsa history so that the raw spirit of salsa music and dance continues to inspire each and every one of us!

What Dancers Say

"Impeccable organisation, high standard of venues and great selection of music are reasons enough for me to return."

Prague Zouk Marathon

"I always feel so welcome here! The atmosphere is amazing and people are all very open to meet and dance with new people. It‘s great that there‘s the eating area where you can just spend time to talk (sometimes I don‘t like talking at parties because the music is too loud and there‘s no place to sit down and relax). The big cushions are amazing for a rest as well. The DJs are the best and dance level is very good. The food is great, too."

Prague Bachata Marathon

"The mix of dancers was so wonderful, best social dancing i may have had, awesome dancers both leaders and followers, lovely open people. The overall high level of dancing helped me personally improve my dancing much more than i would expect on a normal festival. Even after over 15 years of dancing. All on 2. Even on Sunday night the level stayed high, whereas the other prague salsa marathons before it had dropped. Sound quality was spot on. The food was so delicious! I am greatful and psyched that i was invited. Thank you Zdenek."

Our Venues

Romantic Grotta

The Grotta is the main attraction of the Havlicek Gardens and looks like a fairytale with its peculiar rock formations. The artificial cave features the arcade promenade which is quite unique in Prague. The Grotta dates back to 1871–1888 when it was intricately built by Moritz Grobe, a millionaire. After renovation in 2011, the cave was opened for public.
